I am originally from Port Arthur, Texas. I grew up in a devoted catholic household with wonderful siblings that currently also now live in the area. I graduated from Florida Tech after giving birth to my now 13 year old twins. I attended the University of Houston prior and due to the lack of support and help at home, I was left no choice but to finish my B.S. in Business Administration online. I am currently the broker/owner of MMW Realty Partners/Melissa M. Wilson & Assoc. (Commercial Real Estate). We also currently own The Williams Family Insurance Group which is an independent insurance brokerage. We are Sienna Fort Bend residents and love our community!
I will focus on bringing reliable development and businesses to our precinct to cater to the needs of our residents. I have been in business successfully for 18 years and currently own and operate Melissa M. Wilson Assoc/MMW Realty Partners real estate firm. I have experience in finance, marketing, commercial real estate development, mortgages, investments and residential real estate. We also own an independent insurance brokerage and have been catering to the needs of precinct 2 for over a decade.
Engage with MUD districts all over our precinct to understand the needs of that particular community. While visiting these mud districts, I would like to be aware of solutions needed to make living in that community better for the residents.
I don't believe in "pay to play". All businesses will have a fair shot at county contracts. I will encourage Fort Bend businesses to bid on county projects.
I will make sure we are mindful of multi-family developments in the area. Our precinct does not need more apartment developers without the proper infrastructure to support it.
You need someone with a keen understanding of negotiations and the ability to look out for the financial interest of our county.
Private property owner rights is an immediate priority for me. I believe in fair and just compensation for eminent domain acquisitions. I will also work with our representatives at the state level to continue to fight for private property owner rights.
I believe in responsible spending. I have the track record to prove it not only with my own personal finances but my businesses as well. The ability to manage money is very important with this position. As an investor we understand the concept of managing spending.
As our precinct continue to grow, we must understand the needs of improved infrastructure. I want to make sure our community is attractive to live in, play in and work in.

I am a huge community service advocate. We support and attend community events all over our precinct. I do not care what part of town it is on. I have and will continue to support everyone. We have helped with food drives, toy drives, women shelter fundraisers and more.
